Frequently Asked Questions
Tickets, venues, accessibility, auditions: everything you need for a night out with DarkStage.
Where are DarkStage shows performed?
Most of our productions play in Edmonton-area venues: fringe stages, studio spaces and the occasional immersive site. The venue for each show is listed on its show page.
How do I buy tickets?
Tickets are sold through our ticketing partner. Use the “Book Tickets” button on any show page once a production is on sale.
How much do tickets cost?
We keep prices at fringe level so live theatre stays affordable. Exact pricing, including any group or concession rates, is shown on each show’s page.
Are your shows suitable for children?
It depends on the production. Every show page lists an age recommendation and content guidance (language, themes, strobe, haze and so on) so you can decide what’s right for your group.
Is the venue accessible?
We program in accessible venues wherever possible. Access details are noted per show. If you have specific needs, contact us ahead of your visit and we’ll do everything we can to help.
Do you hold auditions?
Yes, we cast locally and audition throughout the year. See our Auditions page for current open calls and how to apply.
Do you offer group rates?
For groups, schools and parties, get in touch via our Contact page and we’ll sort out the best rate.
How can I support DarkStage?
Independent theatre runs on community support. You can donate or partner with us from the Contact page, or simply spread the word and bring a friend.
How do I hear about upcoming shows?
Subscribe to our newsletter at the bottom of any page, or follow us on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook for casting calls, behind-the-scenes and on-sale announcements.
