We’re beyond excited to bring two wildly entertaining comedy musicals to this year’s Edmonton Fringe Festival! Pair of Guys Lost is a bold new original packed with sharp satire and an electrifying electro-pop score, while Voldemort and the Teenage Musical is a hilarious parody following Tom Riddle before his rise as the Dark Lord.
Due to the overwhelming interest in both productions, we’re holding general auditions on March 14 and 15, 2025—to make the process smoother and save everyone time and energy!
Check Below to Learn More about each show and the audition process.
SHOW: Pair of Guys Lost
ROLE: Adam
Playing Age: 18+
Vocal Range: Tenor (C3 – B4); should be comfortable with both lyrical ballads and contemporary pop/rock styles
Gender Identity: Male or male-presenting
Ethnicity: Any
Dance Ability: Comfortable with choreography and stylized movement
Character Breakdown:
Adam is the first man—crafted from dust, placed in Eden, and completely unprepared for the emotional chaos of free will, self-awareness, and falling in love. His relationship with Steve blossoms just as his blind faith in his creator begins to fracture. Adam’s journey is one of innocence and awakening. The actor must balance comedic timing with emotional vulnerability as Adam is the show’s heart.
Special Note:
This role includes moments of queer physical intimacy and partial costuming, consistent with the comedic and satirical tone of the show. Performers should feel confident engaging with themes of faith, sexuality, and identity through a queer and subversive lens.
